Abstract

Smartphones (aka, expensive cellphones) are a communications platform that is well published nowadays. There exist very few security threats in this kind of computing device, but there is no technological barrier stopping threats. This talk will cover the architecture and the protection means used by the two most modern platforms: Google Android and Apple iPhone. We'll give examples of several attacks against both.
